E S Moxon has had a lifelong passion for history and writing. A childhood filled with family visits to ancient burial sites and stone circles fuelled her imagination. Inspired by classical medieval tales and Norse sagas, Elaine imagined herself inhabiting these Dark Ages and exploring the landscapes in her mind, and continues to do so through her novels. When not lost in pages of the past, she lives in the Midlands with her family and their chocolate Labrador.
Elaine is passionate about writing and history and in sharing these passions with her readers, through her blog posts or at public events at independent book shops, clubs and libraries.
Elaine takes an active part in literary and living history events like Chalke Valley History Festival, Wall Open Day at Letocetum Roman Museum, the London Book Fair and Bristol Festival of Literature.
Elaine is a member of the Historical Novel Society.
